FLAFPOLE USES

special events

On holidays and other special events, the American flag is flown high to show patriotism and unity. Flag holidays such as Memorial Day (the last Monday of May), Labor Day (the first Monday in September) and Independence Day (July 4th) are days when many celebrate by flying flags on their homes, cars or businesses.

Advantages

Flagpoles are simple yet beautiful and symbolic. There are many different types of flagpoles that you can use to decorate your space.

Flags allow more precise targeting. A flag displaying a gold lettering will catch attention of customers walking by while they are wearing gold clothing as opposed to people who might pass by on their way to work in blue gear.

Flagpoles are a great way to advertise your company or company’s name without spending the money for large signs and advertisements

changed frequently

Flags can be changed frequently, so people can see what is current. A billboard may be up for months before being taken down and replaced. Flags are easily changed. This allows for quick and cost-effective changes when something is either outdated or suddenly becomes popular.

instant visual

Flags have an instant visual impact. They can be seen from a far distance, without the need for sound, movement, or light to attract attention. Flags can be placed almost anywhere, including rooftops and poles; people will see them no matter how high they are positioned.

virtually

Flags can be used virtually year round since they don’t get heavy in bad weather (as opposed to big signs that may be flipped upside down in the wind). Products can be advertised through flags. For example, if you sell items that have to do with fishing, a fisherman’s flag might be placed next to the pole.

effective

Flagpoles are effective in attracting attention even when people are not looking. For example, a business that sells food or drinks may place their flag on top of the pole, so it is the first thing people see when they enter the building.

current events

Flags can be changed frequently to show new logos and slogans that are relevant to current events or seasonal decorations (e.g., a Christmas tree). Flags can be used to advertise several places of business instead of one.

draw attention

Flags can be used even if the business is closed (or not yet opened). As long as people can see them, they will draw attention and may spread the name of that business by word-of-mouth (if they are interested in the product being advertised).

Flags are easily recycled and reused

Complex Structures

They do not need complex structures to be mounted on, making it easier to change locations or use them in another place/event without having to buy a new one every time.

Flags don’t require any electricity or external power source, which makes them environmentally friendly and easier to install (no need for special wiring or electricians).

Flags are cost-effective when compared to other advertising methods (e.g., billboards).
